John Karwowski, MD

Dr Karwowski is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular disorders and brings to the division additional expertise in minimally invasive interventions for vascular disease.

Dr Karwowski is a graduate of the Tufts University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in General Surgery as well as his fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford University Hospital. Dr Karwowski was also selected for and completed the prestigious Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford.

In addition to co-authoring several original manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Vascular Surgery and the Journal of Surgical Research, Dr. Karwowski has presented vascular disease research results at several national and regional scientific meetings. Dr Karwowski is the co-author of several textbook chapters on vascular disease treatment. His research interests have focused on abdominal aortic aneurysm disease.
